My exercise regime--What helps me to loose
I've found exercise is an important thing in my life now. Especially since I've stopped drinking any and all caffeine, I've found that exercise helps stimulate my body and wake me up.
Every single morning, I get up (go to the bathroom) and spend time on my exercise bike. When I started to loose weight (back in May, 2003, weighing 315 pounds) I managed 20 minutes a day on my bike. Now that I'm 123 pounds lighter, I usually do between 35 to 40 minutes a day. I'd do more, but I just don't have that much time in the mornings when I'm getting ready for the day.
By 10:00 am, when I'm at work (I have a mostly sitting down desk job) I'm getting so lethargic, so, instead of that coffee and snack (which I USED TO HAVE), I get out of the office and go for a 20 minute brisk walk.
Then, if the afternoon, I usually go for another 15 minute walk, usually inside my office building.
Three evenings a week, I go to Curves (gym for women) for my 30 minute workout. The other evenings, I spend another 40 minutes on my exercise bike.

You might think that the time on the exercise bike is boring . . . But I make it fun. I love to watch TV, and I love the good feeling that I get from this exercise, so I combine the two. I either watch a TV program, a video tape, or a DVD movie while peddling. That really makes the time go fast.
Also, when taking my walks, I always have my headphones and listen to favorite music. That keeps my energy going. (I have my mini-disk player, which is smaller than a CD or cassette player, and I've recorded many of my favorite CD's on mini-disks, which I can change when I want new music. I could do a commercial for Sony, who makes mini-disk players. LOL)
Well, I hope this give you an idea of my exercise routine. In order to keep loosing my weight, I need to keep up the exercise, plus avoid eating between meals, and keeping up my water drinking.
Also, here's an update of my weight loss. As of last Saturday morning (I always weigh myself on Saturday mornings) I weighed 192.0 pounds! That makes a weight loss of 123 pounds since May 2003, and loss of 60 pounds since my surgery on June 3rd, 2004.

Sandi every time I go into your web sight, I too want to lose weight. I know I have to stop drinking coffee. I know I have to start excerise every day. I weight what you weight now and I am only 5 feet tall. I also want to get down to 140. Please keep up the work and put down what you are eating. Thank you for doing this. I have hope :)
