One recent development that I've noticed this past month, is I'm loosing a little more hair on my hairbrush & comb. I understand this is normal (at least not unusual) 4 to 5 months after gastric bypass surgery (GBP). I mentioned this to my surgeon, and he recommended that I increase my protein by consuming an additional 2 scoops of Pro Complex. That means having two of my meals replaced by Pro Complex and eating only one meal.

I've also bought some special hair care products (called Nioxin) that is supposed to stimulate hair growth. It includes Nioxin shampoo (hair cleanser), a treatment like a cream rinse and a foam that is similar to mousse. I've only used it 3 times so far, so it's too soon to see if it is working. But I have high hopes with the Nioxin on my scalp and the additional protein inside me. I'll let you all know if my hair starts to grow back thicker.

I'll watch for your comments now. Take care, y'all! :-)
